so probably like your us tech told you the gender parts haven’t formed on your baby yet any “thing” down there will form into a penis or a vagina. If god forbid your baby was to be born now it wouldn’t look like a boy or a girl. Sorry to be harsh. The earliest to tell on an us is 16 weeks. i think what you are pointing to is the umbilical cord. That’s your penuts belly.

I’m not sure I see a nub, but fwiw I had a girl and totally craved salty/spicy when I was pregnant…especially hot wings!

I had salty/savory cravings with my daughter too. In fact i completely went off sweet foods until the 3rd trimester when all i wanted was milky bar. FWIW though all the predictions I did said boy so I dont believe any of that now!

I don’t believe that’s the numb. Here is a picture of my girl at 12 weeks. Also- the only old wives tale that was true for me was that her heart rate was always 168.

bananchik:  3D ultrasounds can supposedly tell at 13 weeks. No idea if that’s all or even most cases, but that’s what centers that offer them advertise.

That’s not a nub where the arrow is.  However going by the skull theory, I’d say boy!
