Calm me down: Endoscopy tomorrow

Oh one more thing- wear loose fitting clothes. I was really bloated. They put air in to make it easier to visualize. I guess if you have anesthesia or sedation you’re probaby deflated by the time you leave. But if you decide to go the no-drugs route, be prepared to be bloated for a few hours!

I’ve had one! I don’t remember anything. I think mine was an upper endoscopy (entered through mouth). I just remember laying in a bed with an IV and then falling asleep and waking up what felt like a minute later. They told me they were done and I didn’t believe them. I felt no pain or discomfort during or after the procedure. It was super easy! Have you had your wisdom teeth removed? If so, my anesthesia experience was similar with the whole not remembering anything part. I promise it’ll be okay! Don’t be nervous. It’s easy!(:
