I know dresses can be let out some but I think it depends on how the dress is made. I would suggest contacting someone in alterations before you purchase the dress to see what they think can be done!

It really depends on the dress. My dress has about an inch that can be let out but some of the more intricate gowns might have more or less. The only way to tell is if you look at the seams.

The other option is to put in a corset back if it would work with the style of the dress.

they may be able to make it a corset back or something like that so its adjustable, but i would contact a professional seamstress first to find out

It doesn’t look like a lot could be changed to keep the zipper, but a corset would definitely work with the style of that dress.

That was my though also. Adding a corset in the back can give you the extra room you need. I would find a seamtress near you and talk to them about it, before you ordered the dress.A good seamstress should have no problem doing it.

From the looks of the dress, adding a corset will work nicely and not take away from the look of the gown.
