Umm that’s tough to answer.  You’ll have to wait to see what they say at your fitting.  You might be able to get a little more length out of the hem but not a full inch because they’d still want to have a nice finished hem on the bottom.  You could always add a layer of lace detailing or something.  But then that could get costly.  Might want to find another pair of shoes.

Well, the good news is that your hem is supposed to be about an inch off the ground anyways 😉

If it’s too much it all depends. The MUCH cheaper option would be to get new shoes, unfortunately. But, most people won’t see them anyways… and most brides kick them off way before the nights done 😉

oh no! total bummer. I’d look for new shoes just in case. Bring them to the fitting so you can still have the fitting if your dress can’t be lengthened.

Is there a seam under the bust? There might be extra fabric there too.

You could always add a layer of tulle underneath.  I’m not sure if that would work with your dress, but other Bees have suggested it and it sounds like it could look soft and pretty.

But yeah, shorter shoes is probably easier.  Good luck!
