My guess is you’re not pregnant.  Sometimes as the urine goes across the test it can appear positive.  Did you wait the allotted 3 minutes?  Also, there are certain tests, I think the pink ones that can give you a false positive just b/c of the dye.

Take another one so you stop worrying. I’m sure its nothing, if you have no faith in store bought PTs then go to your doctor, however, I hear Clear Blue is a good brand.

I really would suggest you take another, because you are going to be freaking out until you either get your monthly visitor or take another. So just do it and put your mind at ease.

@beekiss: It’s the ones with blue dye that can apparently give you a false positive.

As someone whose first positive was extremely faint (didn’t disappear though), I’d say wait a day and try a digital test so there is no dispute.

ive never had a line disappear  Im guessing you saw where the line WOULD be when teh urine washed over the screen.  But, like every other pp said, Id take another.  Try a digital or a First Response.  I took FR 5 days before my PD was due and got a positive

When I took mine, I made sure it was digital so I couldn’t stress myself out looking at a line. The digital ones are also sometimes more sensitive and thus more accurate as well.

@lcdc:  My bad, you’re right.  It’s the blue ones.

OP:  I’d take another test tomorrow morning.
