Hi Ladies,
I got my engagement ring from Brilliant Earth, and I love it. Now we are looking at purchasing a wedding band, but getting the matching band from Brilliant Earth would involve putting it in the mail (plus it is out of the budget), and it looks like getting a band made to match here in town would also be a bit too expensive.
Yesterday I was browsing wedding bands on jewelery store websites, and I came across a band that looks like it might be a close(ish) match.
Do you think that a jeweler would be able to match the band to the engagement ring? (pics below)

So do you want to buy the above ring and take it somewhere for them to alter the curve to be more flush? If so, I dont think that is a good idea

@MASPA: Yes. Is that not something they can do?

This is only my experience from working in jewellery here in AUS but that ring wouldn’t work. Because the curve in the band does not follow the same curve in your ring it would need to be altered heavily and would make the curve too thin and weak. I personally would send off for a quote to get a custom band. Seeing as though the band you have chosen doesn’t have stones it wouldn’t be as expensive and that way the band would fit perfectly.
Good luck!

@melinchka: Thanks! I was trying to see if we could get something less expensive than a custom band, but maybe I should reconsider.

@Ms.Sequoia2013: its not about whether or not they could actually do. I imagine they can. But I feel that the cost would not be worth it.
