Size 14 Maggie Sotterro Jenna. I loved it, but it was uncomfortable to sit in(probably because of my huge hips) so I chose a different dress to wear on my day.

@chunkybunny: Mine is a basque waist with an A line. With a sweetheart neckline.  The only picture I have of myself is in the sample dress.  My actual dress should be in within in the next week here.  I plan on posting a picture of me in it once it gets here.

Mine was a drop waist. So it was fitted through the torso but then began to flare right in the middle of my hip. It’s a good way to hide the tummy ๐Ÿ™‚ My dress was a size 18. I’m a street size 14 on the bottom and 18 on top 38Dear Daughter

I tried the exact same dress as mwitter80 had. In fact planned on getting that dress but the bridal shop that had it, the owner was really rude to me and I didn’t want to spend that much money on a dress at a place where the people were rude to me.

I don’t see why not. As long as its fitted properly you can wear whatever you want!

@chunkybunny: ya I’m a “glamazon” at 5’10”. I got it on etsy for $30 including the caged veil!! It was a super steal.

You can wear whatever you want, but honestly, I really feel like a mermaid is a style that only looks goon on one type of figure.  Super tall, super skinny, and with a good butt.  If you have such a figure, a mermaid will accentuate your curves while still making you look thin, tall, and elegant.  If you’re too short or too wide, the mermaid reeaaallly chops up your figure.  So no, I honestly don’t think mermaids work for plus size girls.  Nor do they really tend to work for short girls like myself ๐Ÿ™  I think A-line is the absolute 100% most flattering style on a plus sized girl.
