This really depends on the extent of the damage, and where the damage falls (probably easier to fix if it’s not in the middle of the dress). You will likely need the opinion of an experienced seamstress who is looking at the dress in person before you can determine if it can be fixed or not.

It really depends.  Can you find an independent wedding seamstress in your area to go with you to the appointment to look at the dress and tell you if it is salvageable?

My dress was a sample.  I regret it.  It wasn’t damaged in any way, but it was a couple sizes too big and the alterations to make it fit me have been really giving me heartache.
