My Fiance and i went to an antique store near a little touristy town in our state. I wasn’t really expecting to find anything since my theme is vintage/rustic and that seems to be a popular theme…plus this tourist town is really rustic and lots of wedding are held in it. first store we go into, I found these really cool bottles!! They have a lot of cool detail on them! I bought them because our centerpieces are going to consist of 3 different bottles/jars with flowers in them. All mixed up! Anyway…can anyone tell me what these bottles are?! They look like old liquor bottles. Either way….I’m super happy with them!
I was able to get the paint off the second one.
I know the green one is just a vase…it’s going to go somewhere but probably not for centerpieces..i just liked it in general.

Old liquor and medicine bottles.

Looks like you have a mix but a majority look to be apothecary bottles. I spot a Perrier bottle in the mix too and perhaps a cruet.

The blue bottle in the second pic next to the green vase looks like a Bombay Sapphire bottle.

@gelaine22: I looked that up…I don’t think it is because it has some really pretty detail on it…it just doesn’t show up in the pic. plus it just looks really old.
I should add that they all are tall bottles. I’ve googled vintage bottles and vintage medicine bottles but I can’t find anything with this much detail. Oh well…I can’t wait to use them…whatever they are!

Some of them look like old liqour bottles but others look like decorative bottles you find at Pier 1 or Hobby Lobby

@MrsM914: hmmm well if they are, I’m not complaining!! I paid $3-$5 for these. They’d probably be 20 bucks at Pier 1!
