I would imagine so – my wedding gown is chiffon, as was my last one, and both were/are being hemmed a LOT.

Good luck!

Yes. Chiffon is hemmed with a roll hem. The dress is basically cut to almost the length you need, then the edge is just rolled and very fine stitches used to hem.

Or, you can do a rolled hem on a serger.

My dress has chiffon on it, and it is being hemmed, so I would imagine so, haha.

I just went in to get a bridesmaids dress hemmed and it had a (very poorly cut) chiffon layer, so she’ll be fixing it up for me. If you love the dress, pick it! 🙂

It is absolutely possible but I caution you that at times it can be costly.  My bridesmaids got long chiffon which had three layers that had to be hemmed and then brought up in the shoulder and it cost somewhere in the area of $150 just for alterations.  This is not a costly seamstress either because she is who I went to for my dress (I felt super bad when I realized how much alterations would be 🙁
