@phillybride61513:  This sounds amazing!  I love edible favors, all of the other ones (coasters, tiny picture frames, votive candles, etc) just end up in the trash lol.

Food is always acceptable as a favor, and since cheesesteaks are so quintessentially Philly, I think it’s a great idea.  No one goes to a wedding for the favors, and I’d much rather have a good cheesesteak after a night of drinking/dancing than a set of coasters or a candle with someone else’s name/initials/wedding date on it!!

I’m not sure I’d associate/consider a cheesesteak as a favor, but I don’t think favors are necessary and I loveeeee cheesesteaks (especially Jim’s!) so I say go for it!

Its a cool idea but I definitely wouldn’t think it was a favor.

i wouldn’t really consider this a favour but it would be a great treat for your guests.  i think it sounds yummy.  you don’t really need a favour.

i would make sure that your guests know that there will be a food truck outside so that they can take advantage of it.  i know i wouldn’t want to miss it.

I would appreciate it, but I wouldn’t consider it a favor. I also don’t think you need a favor, though.

This wouldnt be a favor but just another part of the wedding (in my opinion). I think it sounds GREAT though! Why do you need an actual “favor?”

I voted that I think it will be a fine replacement for a favor, but I also just wanted to tell you that it took me until comment 23 to figure out that you are giving out cheeseSTEAKS and fries, and not cheeseCAKES and fries…  I guess you know what I’m craving right now!! 🙂
