I feel you. I know it’s not happening for V-day but it will still hurt if I witness someone else getting engaged in front of me. I’ll be happy for them but sad for me. Here’s to hoping it goes by really fast for all of us.

Glad to know I’m not the only one who wants to ‘get it over with’, lol. Not really, but y’all know what I mean 🙂
Here’s my prescription to myself for the next three days: Running tons of errands today, one of which is a stop by the library to get some books to distract myself with.

I’m in the same situation! We went ring shopping mid January and he says our engagement is coming “soon.” Our anniversary is on Valentine’s Day (5 years); however, we are unable to celebrate it then because I have parent-teacher conferences to do that night. We are celebrating tonight…I’m trying to tell myself that it’s not going to happen tonight! It’s hard when the thought of being engaged to your best friend soon is always in your head! (At least it is for me…)
