I love the way mixed metals look! I’m hoping to have a rose gold wedding band. I say go for it!

I think you can because of the 2 wedding band style. It will look purposeful, like earings that entertwine the materials.

one of the girls I work with has the same problem. In her case I recommended she consider a wedding band with both tones, but in your case I actually think I like how these will go.

@coastalshell: I think it’s a great idea!  I have a plat e-ring and I’m thinking of getting 2 rose gold wedding bands.. I feel like you can get away with a lot more (width, style, etc.) when you have 2 bands in a different color metal.

I like the idea. I wish I could see it though! But like pp said, I’ve seen other jewelry like that. Even a wedding band intertwined with the two.

You could get the band of your e-ring rhodium plated.

I am normally against mixing metals, but I truly think that considering you have a the enhancer with two bands it will look purposeful like lefeymw said. I think it would look really good IMHO! 🙂

I was also considering wearing a platinum or paladium eternity band next to my yellow gold solitaire… but when I tried on a few bands the other day, I didn’t really like the look. I still plan on looking more and maybe if I see a different band or two I’ll like the look again, idk. I’d suggest going to a jewelry store and trying on a few things. 🙂 I don’t think there is anything fundamentally wrong with wearing white gold/silver/platinum with yellow gold, though!

I quickly photoshopped your picture for you, maybe this helps you visualize it?

I actually think it looks quite nice 🙂 I would still suggest trying some things on though!

I did a quick photoshop edit for you, just so you can get a better idea of what it would look like.

Hope this helps!
