@MrsToB:  I seriously think your dress is gorgeous.  The lace appliques on your dress are similar to the ones on mine.  A sash will be tricky because of the location of your various lace appliques, but I honestly don’t think you need a sash.  As far as covering up, Tulip Bridal on etsy has some beautiful boleros (that’s where I got mine) that match the appliques on your dress well.  I know they have some 3/4 sleeve ones which should be suitable for a house of worship.

I think that once you get your hair and makeup done and everything pulled together, you will be excited for your dress again.  It really is gorgeous!

This is a really pretty dress and you look great in it!  Honestly I wouldn’t touch it at all.   If you need/want to spice it up at all do it with jewelry and hair accessories.  But I think it is lovely.

I think your dress is lovely!!!! If you feel better adding a sash, then add the sash πŸ™‚ But, I will say that personally, it seems that a sash might clash with the appliques…depending on how large the sash would be (since it might cover up part of those appliques, thus exposing half of an applique, for example). Sorry if I spelled that wrong lol. Anyway, gorgeous dress though!!!  And personally, I think sleeves would look amazing on it…lace with some beading or applique maybe? Sooo pretty! Of course that depends on your church’s sleeve policy…mine is rather strict. No lace sleeves πŸ™ So I’m buying a jacket and having it tacked onto my strapless dress. πŸ™‚

    Best wishes!!

Love those!! Lace sleeves are so beautiful! I would say that the style you decide on depends on whether you like a lower key look or not. Personally, the 2nd one looks closer to matching your dress, since it has the smaller lace-work and appliques.

They make sashes that come to a peak and may fit just perfectly in the center to cover up the scalloping.  A solid beaded sash will be more pliable to fit in the space.  I hope everything falls right into place for you Smile
