Hey date twin! I’m June 3, 2017 as well! What about some pumpkins painted in springy colors in your decor? I’ve always loved a cute painted pumpkin.

It might help if you let us know what fall elements you are drawn to, though.

You could incorporate some richer colours into your palette: think marsala and dark mossy green along with beautiful pops of gold and blush (peony season!!)

If you do it in the evening, you can do lots of warm string lighting and jar lighting! Also a hot cocoa bar and a possible bonfire (depending on the venue, obviously)!

I like copper/rose gold and blue also.

It will be very off style-wise to add literal fall elements to a June wedding. Of course you can add whatever you want to your wedding, but will it look weird to have pumpkins in June? Absolutely lol. But you can add a Fall feel through the colors. I’d do what others have suggested in choosing richer colors, but not Fall details like themes and food. The Navy and copper/rose gold suggestion^ is beautiful if you like that sort of thing.

spifftiff88 :  Ugh, I feel your pain. I wanted an October wedding too. I’m getting married in June. I dispise the thought.

Colors are out fo rme, since mine are chosen, but I’m following this thread to see what people say

I picked fall colors to for the same reason. I’m doing a Halloween engagement photo shoot, so he at least I have that.  My colors are Burgundy (more of a wine), blush, yellow, and sage. I had to add the yellow in for my Fiance. I’m keeping the reception very warm feeling. I’m really not sure how else to make it fall-ish. I’m hoping for a crisp night so at least the weather is close to it.

The spring wedding shocked everyone because I’m crazy about fall/Halloween.

I’ve seen some fall weddings that have baskets of apples for the harvest season. Maybe something like that, but with green apples. I’ve seen some versions like that, that would be fall like but not out of place in the spring/summer.

You can use some fall elements but change the colors.

Gold leaves

antlers

branches

leaf guestbook

I would avoid the stereotypical pumpkins, fall colored leaves and pinecones.

I worked at a hotel that was a popular venue for weddings. I used to help decorate and serve at weddings when the banquet staff was short. There was a woman who wanted a fall wedding but was a teacher so her only option was to marry in the summer. We decorated the ballroom and I swear it was like walking into October. Absolutely beautiful! I don’t care how weird it might be to have a “fall” wedding in June. Do whatever makes you happy. I love the fall and I know I’d decorate as if it was fall even if my wedding was in June. This is your day. Do what makes you happy.
