The dress looks amazing! Seriously blows the runner up out of the water. I actually like the thin belt, but trying with a ribbon wouldn’t hurt. I’m a 14 and find sometimes thicker things work better, but sometimes not. It might cut you in half too much? But yeah, you look great in the dress!

Im a busty girl myself and you picked a very flattering neckline. V-necks slim and separate. The pattern adds visual interest without zeroing in your midsection. I really like the idea of a belt, maybe something thicker would let better. Even if you have to finangle attaching it to your waist the belt visiually draws your waist creating an overall nice shape. Dump the pink dress.

Great job on your weightloss!

Love it! I would probably try getting a really nice, wide belt to emphasize your waistline 🙂

You’re dress looks awesome on you! I’d totally swap out that belt for a navy blue 1 1/4″ grosgrain ribbon and tie it in a bow in the back, I think it would look more natural with the shape of the dress and your figure. When I first read that you wanted to ditch the belt my auto-reaction was NO because it definitely needs something but your ribbon idea is perfect!

allyfally:  Such a cute dress! v-neck, a-line flowy skirt dresses are my go-to, always super flattering! Congrats on your weight loss. I know how great it is to go from 20-16, still working my way back to it I’ve been fluctuating between my 18 and 16 jeans 🙁

Anyway I think that you might even be able to get away with no belt since there is that defined waiste line that looks quite finished to me. I do agree that the really think belt looks odd, almost feels like an after thought.

I love it! Looks so good on you. I like the idea of trying a different belt… I agree that a thicker one would look even better. I like

allyfally:  OhEmGee, you look so so so pretty!! And that dress is darling! yeah, why do they always put those tiny, thin belts on stuff? I think it’s way better than the pink one and yeah, go for the ribbon belt!! Love! And congrats on going down a size! WooT!

Love love love the first dress on you! Such a flattering dress. I’m not a fan of the pink dress because it doesn’t give you a slimming waist line like that first one. I like th e skinny belt on the first dress but not on the second. Where did you get that?
