I love the unique ring threads:) And man, there are some beautiful rings. Futuremrsrowe, yours is one of my favs. Bet you can’t wait to get it!
Here’s my sapphire and tiny diamond Claddagh ring. As soon as I saw the detail, I was obssessed with this ring and had to have it. Thought of nothing else until it was on my finger. Poor husband. lol

My e-ring is FI’s great-grandmother’s ring. It couldn’t be more perfect for me. ๐

And with out “fated” band thatmagically fits without being custom made…

@thefuturemrsrowe Yay for aquamarine rings! Yours is beautiful!
@noritake22 Orange sapphire = amazingness! It’s so beautiful, especially with that setting!
@cbee Thank you so much! My FI’s great-grandmother had great taste, huh? I feel honored to wear it now!
@TessaDL Thanks for your kind words; so sweet of you! : ) I got a super thin simple silver band that I’m going to wear on my left hand and I’ll switch the aquamarine ring to my right. I don’t want to steal from its beauty! Isn’t the historical significance of the ring so cool, too? I can’t wait to talk to my grandfather-to-be about his mother, the lady whose ring this originally was. It’ll be so fun getting to know more about her! Maybe I’ll give our first daughter her name…

@mshoagie:I LOVE this! It’s so pretty and its actually gold! Is it yellow or rose gold though, I can’t tell. My taste is really similar! Even though we have our date set, I don’t have a ring yet (long story) but mine is going to be yellow gold and ornamental. When I said something to this effect at a chain jeweler (Kays) I think, the lady all but laughed me out of the store. “Oh, no one does that anymore. They don’t even make yellow gold engagment rings.”
Apparently I’m NOT the only one. ; )

@Mrs. Puffin: it’s a replica we had custom made of my fiance’s great grand-mother’s ring. I’m absolutely in love with how it came out. The design is from the Edwardian era. 1901.

@PutABirdOnIt: Mine is a claddaugh, too :-). It’s what I wanted as an engagement ring since I was 13, though I didn’t have a particular one in mind (I didn’t even care if it included a diamond, I just liked the symbolism of it). Luckily a friend of mine passed on that info to my now husband ๐
