Ever see a random wedding photo online and just think I *HAVE* to have that! Well, I just found this beauty – and unfortunately it might be a TAD out of my reach:

Paris is my FAVOURITE city in the entire world, and I’ve been 3x with my Fiance. In fact, he even promised that he’ll re-propose to me under the Eiffel Tower next time we visit, if I need to live out my Eiffel Tower-engagement fantasies.
AND we’re going to be flying to Europe a few days after the wedding to host a second reception in FI’s hometown in Germany. Paris is only a couple hours by highspeed train… and I’m going to have my wedding dress with me in Germany – is it bad that I’m fantasizing about trying to make this a realty???

Oh, and for the record, my Fiance already tried to convince me that he thinks the photo is photoshopped lol (well at least the sign)

The sign is totally photoshopped. Or they are photoshopped into the picture. With a long exposure like that, no way the words would be clear.

Super pretty….but shouldn’t the sign say Merci? Just a thought. Love the brides relaxed hair do

My heart isn’t totally set on the sign part per say (though I did use this as inspiration for my Save the Dates) but DEFINITELY on the idea of me in my wedding gown in Paris lol. Perhaps I can persuade Fiance if I tell him he can just bring his tripod and set up his SLR rather then hiring a pro?
I’m not exactly how the logistics of me tracing around Paris in a wedding gown would work though…. Maybe I wouldn’t be too concerned if I’d already worn it twice, since it wouldn’t really matter if it got dirty?

The Thank You vs. Merci is what makes me think that the two in the photo aren’t ACTUALLY from Paris.

I think there is a 3 hour high speed train from Frankfurt to Paris. In my head the two of us would be hitting Paris before or after as our ‘honeymoon’ since we are not getting a real honeymoon due to having to go to Germany with family right after!
If it is somehow possible to go, I think I’m going to give this a try. It might be TOTALLY impractical to be dragging a wedding gown around – but like you said, it would be a once in a lifetime chance.
