Our wedding was about six weeks ago and it was absolutly fabulous… except for one detail. We had no guestbook.
I had hired a photobooth that was coming from VA beach to our wedding on the outerbanks NC. Well thanks to typicall saturday traffic and an unexpected accident, they never made it… and neither did the guestbook that they were bringing. The worst part of the story is that the company held off on calling me or my coordinator because they “did not want to upset me.” So I didn’t realize what had happened until dinner was about to be served (no time to get a guestbook)
Anyway… what to do now?
I was thinking of sending a pretty index card for guests to sign and retrun in a self addressed stamped envelope with the thank you cards. Of course I would include a little note on what the card is for and why we are sending it. Then I would put the cards in a box or scrapbook.
Is this strange? too much to ask? Should I send the cards with the thank you’s or seperatly? Or is it not even worth it?
