@bling204:

What’s the difference between your radiant and a princess? I thought radiants were typically rectangular? I’m just curious. Either way it is beautiful!

Here’s a 1.5 and 2 carat on my 4.75 finger. Looks huge…and amazing! 😉 Not my e-rings. I’ll throw my e-ring in there because it does have a large size but it consists of many stones:

1.5 carats

2 carats. Lots of depth in that stone!

My lovely e-ring!

@Willow1991:  I have a radiant square but you are right that many people get more of a rectangular cut. I had always planned on getting a princess but when we went and looked at stones together the specialist suggested I also look at radiants. The radiant cut looked a little softer than the princess (the corners are cut off) and sparkled like crazy so for me it was an easy switch. I do still loves princesses though!

@bling204:

its stunning! Did you go to a small jeweler? I wonder if a local place here would have one I could look at. I love princess cuts but the corners turn me off.

@bling204:  loooooooooooooooooove! This is exactly what I wanted (but, um, smaller), but we couldn’t find anything in our price range. 🙁

My center stone is .25 (.5 total–someone else posted the big sister version of my ring earlier in here) on a 4.5 finger–I can’t imagine wearing a 2ct!

@Willow1991:  We went to a local wholesaler but I’d assume most places would have a few radiants in their inventory. You can also find several online – just look for pretty even lengthtowidth ratios.

@vorpalette: Thank you! I definitely had to put in a few years for this bad boy (5+ but who’s counting) but it was worth the wait!
