Is this the type of thing you’re looking for?

@Mrskrich:  Thank you. 🙂  This set was bought as is!  They were both commercially available (and sold separately) but they were made for each other.  There might be a matching band commercially available for your engagement ring, but if there isn’t, I’m sure you could get a jeweller to make something like this!

@Mrskrich:  Most engagement rings now seem to have matching wedding bands available, but if you wind up having to go the custom route, just tell the jeweller that you’d like the wedding band to fit the shape of your engagement ring. 🙂  I’m sure they’d be able to do it!

@MoonlightRose:  Gorgeous ring! I’ve never seen a claddagh like that with a matching band.

This is the one I picked out because my ring didn’t have a band to go with it.

Here is my curved wedding band. Mine is not a set. The ering and wedding band were bought separately. We had a really hard time finding a wedding band with only baguettes that was curved, but I didn’t want a straight one.

Mine were custom-made together, but I’m not sure if I want a band I can’t wear by itself.

@Loribeth:  Thank you! ^_^ Yeah, they’re rather difficult to come by!  It’s hard to find wedding bands that will really work well with Claddagh rings so I looked for one that had a matching wedding band available.  To date, I’ve only seen two such sets!

@Loribeth:  Yours really looks like it IS a set, though!  Well done on matching it up so well!

@MoonlightRose:  Thanks!  We had originally bought one that was straight, and I just didn’t like it at all. It had a gap and diamonds on the sides didn’t line up with each other.  When I saw this ring (it’s actually two rings that are connected by bars on the bottom and my ering sits down in it), I knew that it was perfect. It curved around my ering and there were no gaps. Plus, because there were rings on both sides, it was okay that the diamonds on the wedding ring didn’t line up with the ering, because it still looked symetrical.
