I know this is totally random, but I’m deciding how I want my nails to look for the engagement session – either color or nude.
I’m pretty sure I’m going with either nude or french on the wedding day, but not set in stone yet. Any bold ladies going for colored nails on the big day?

Sorry I don’t have pics, but I did a pinkish nude colour for my e-photos.

I wore plum nail polish! I don’t have any good pics of it, though.

I had shellac nails for my wedding day which is different to false or gel nails. I needed a more lasting option because I had a 3-day Indian wedding and did not want my nail polish to be chipped. I also had tried acrylics and gels and liked neither due to the damage they did to my otherwise very healthy nails, plus they looked quite unnatural compared to shellac.

See this blog post about someone who tested red shellac nails for 15 days with minimal chipping!

You do (or at least should) get them removed at the nail salon, however, I found mine just “grew-out” after a few weeks (my nails grow fast). Just don’t try to peel it off as it will take some of your nail too just like gels and acrylics do.
