@katieebee: I was actually a little nervous b/c my husband likes more “traditional” looks vs. my more daring looks (I wear a few flashy/big headbands and he just shakes his head and thinks its different.) So I thought we would think the birdcage was “weird” but he loved it!

I was the first one of all my friends to wear a birdcage, and actually was the first one that anyone had seen actually wear one and I am so happy I did! The whole look was so “me,” so no regrets here 🙂

@AnnieAAA: I LOOOOOOVE your birdcage and facinator!  It’s the perfect length and look for you.  Hmmmm.. would you happen to be selling it? hehehe… if not, where did you get it from?

@iHeartSC: No, I’m keeping mine haha! But, I bought it on etsy from seller brendasbridalveils for only $20! I also got the facinator from her too. She has a bunch to choose from & I just loved mine!

Got mine on Etsy (seller was brendasbridalveils) and bought a flower hair clip while I was in England for work.

I had a fascinator, no veil (though I wish I’d had one, in hindsight!). If you have a little extra time and don’t want to shell out a ton of money, you might consider making your own. I picked up a flower at Hobby Lobby and added some bling. You could easily sew or hot-glue Russian netting (birdcage veil material) to the fascinator and put it on a clip or comb. 🙂
