My veil was by far my favorite thing!!!  It was my mother’s.

Mine was a little longer than cathedral (140″) but close enough. 🙂

I spent a lot on my custom hand-beaded cathedral-length veil and the vendor was a nightmare, but I think it was worth it!

Woops!  Guess mine is technically chapel length.

@SpecialSundae:  Expensive. 😉

I have no idea but it was custom made to accommodate my dress, hair and heel height as I wanted the veil to be longer than my train.

Longer than cathedral is regal length or royal length

Mine is a four-tiered, lace-edged cathedral veil. We made it by sewing two veils together to get the layers the lengths we wanted.

It’s a little on the heavy side, but not too bad. Also, I’ll be wearing it just for the ceremony. My gown has a long-sleeved lace overdress that coordinates with the veil, and so I’m wearing both of those for our Catholic Mass wedding, but I’ll be taking them off  for the reception and wearing the bottom part of the gown (spaghetti-strap A-line) with a floral headpiece. Two looks, one gown!
