Hey Bees! This is my first post, but I must confess I have lurked around for months. I am a waiting bee, expecting my ring any day now *squeal!*
For a while I was really into the idea of getting some sort of pink or yellow stone for my e-ring, but my family squashed that idea out of me with the whole “it will just look like you couldn’t afford a real ring” (which I found ridiculous! I just wanted the color so it was unique and more me!) but I realized that if I don’t have their respect it will bother me forever, so i’ve let that go. We have now decided to go for a solitaire (at least I think thats what he’s going for…) so I can spice it up with either a solitaire enhancer or a colored wedding band.
So, do any of you bees have colored side stones or a wedding band with colored stones? I know I have seen a few out there but it would be nice to see them all together!
I’d love to see them and I’m sure other bees would love to as well!! Thanks bees!

Both sides are the same. One sapphire on each side.
My sister has an emerald ring with diamonds around it.

@MrsFuzzyFace: I’m in LOVE with the marquise stones in your band! I’ll have to keep an eye out for similar designs
@Klb5882: your setting is so detailed its really pretty! Are the sapphires visible from above at all? Its really cute that they are like a hidden little detail.
Thanks for sharing ladies! I’d love to see more if anyone else wants to bite…?

I don’t think I’ve shared this ring before. It was my set before my recent upgrade. .40 princess cut center diamond with ruby side stones (1ct total weight). It was actually pretty flashy considering the smaller size. Unfortunately I’m rough on rings…had to get the prongs retipped (you can tell in this picture) and now the stones are loose AGAIN. So it sits sadly in my jewelry box.

@abbyful: Wow. I’m not sure if I’ve told you this before but I LOVE your wedding band. Do you mind if I ask where you got it from? It’s amazing. I have wedding ring jealousy! 😛

@MrsFuzzyFace: thank you for posting your picture! my e-ring is a princess cut solitaire with a smooth band and i had been wondering if a non-sleek smooth wedding band would go with it and now i see yours look beautiful together!

@strawberryfieldsforever – Thank you! It’s from ID Jewelry. http://idjewelryonline.com/index.php
(Their diamond & colored stone bands are under “diamond eternity bands”, not under “colored stone” like you’d think they should be.)

I sometimes wish I had chosen all emeralds instead of a mix but I love it and can’t wait to wear it! 🙂
