This is my first post, so Hello to all. I am looking at buying a 1.5 carat diamond from James Allen in the I-J range. I have picked a pave setting with a criss cross pattern. I want to see some I-J 1.25-2 carat round diamonds from you guys to reassure myself that they are not to colored. Thank You!

A 2.02 carat GIA J. I’ve never had a second’s regret or concern about the colour.

Here’s a pic comparing my I-colored e-ring (2.04ct) to a colorless CZ stud (1ct equivalent). I took it in my office (where my ring looks its absolute warmest and worst) because I wondered how much of that was due to the I color vs. the awful yellowish lighting there. I’m very happy with it — I’d just make sure to get an ideal cut. Hope this helps!

Mine is 1.7something (can’t remember but under 1.8) J, excellent cut. It also has some blue fluorescence. Love it, and it never looks yellow to me!

Hope to add my 1.5ish I-J soon! Not sure what he ended up going with.
Will just add that in all our research, we found that cut is THE most important factor. An excellent cut will help it face up its whitest. Not to mention account for all the sparkle!
