GoooingToTheChapel:  this was my sister in laws first dress. She ended up not wearing it because she was 8 months pregnant at the wedding. Lol, oops! She’s very fair skinned and the color looked amazing on her! This is an Allure though. Ivory/light gold/silver I believe are these colors

Mine is ivory over light champagne, but the champagne used is kinda pinkish gold I guess. I think having any color underneath really helps the ivory lace show up better, in person and in pictures!

GoooingToTheChapel:  My dress is from Mark Lesley with ivory lace over gold lining. Our colours are blush pink & gold; looks gorgeous next to the blush pink bridesmaids dresses 🙂

Mine is ivory lace over champagne royal organza! I was concerned about it not being your typical bridal white, however the ivory lace over ivory organza tended to hide the beautiful lace detail. The champagne tends to make the lace ‘pop’ a bit more. My doubts about the colour have been erased sfter seeing all your beautiful dresses!

Here is mine! It’s a lot more antique looking than in the photos (please excuse the back fat; it doesn’t fit yet!) it doesn’t look “gold” per say it just looks antiqued- ivory doesn’t go well with mine and champagne is much too dark. I’m getting a custom veil made (the color tulle is called “sand”) and my shoes dyed. Also I’m wearing gold & pearl bracelet & earrings– not silver.

Mine is just “light gold” completely

It really depends on the lighting, this next pic is pretty “true to color” I think

Beaded evening bag

but in the sun light…

Left the pics big so you could see the light gold better. My dress is light gold, ivory lace, and silver.

akamoxie:  Thank You! It’s Allure 2709. I’m going to be adding cap sleeves that crisscross in the back as well as having sequins hand sewn onto the layer underneath the lace to give it a little extra sparkle! I can’t wait for it to come in!!!

I wore the “Lorie” dress by Maggie Sottero in ivory lace over pale gold – the dress looked almost plain ivory in a lot of my pictures but in others you could really see that it was gold undeneath – I think it just depends on the lighting.  However, in person you can absolutely tell that it’s NOT just a plain ivory dress – hope that’s helpful – good luck!!
