Spanx is the name of the entire line, so what exact item are you referring to sewing into the dress????

I don’t think you can do that.  How about the spanx that are like bike shorts but go all the way up to just below your boobs?  You may be able to sew on some sort of buttons of some sort to from your bra to the top of those.

I think spanx sewn in would mess up the shape of the dress.

I would be worried about it altering the lie & drape of the dress in strange ways, and I can’t imagine how you’d be able to get in & out of the dress. Have you considered the Spanx panty hose? They might do the trick without slipping down on you. Also, (I can’t believe I’m typing this, but you never know…) perhaps something as simple as a large bandage over your belly button may smooth things out.

hmmm I feel like it would be really difficult to get in/out of your dress if you sewed Spanx of some sort into it!

I would do the high-waisted shorts like louboutin suggested.

If you want the strapless tube you posted, I would just wear that, not sew it into the dress.  I doubt you’ll have problems with it falling down (after all, it’s intended to be pretty tight!).  Sewing it in would make it really hard to get in or out of your dress and might cause bunching in the dress.

I would definitely not sew it into the dress – have you ever gotten into them?

With a wedding dress attached I feel that it would be mission impossible!!!!

The spanx that go right up to under your boobs do not fall down and so I would try those!

Good Luck!

You could also try a corset/busiter that goes down to the panty line and the bike short style spanx :o)

I wouldn’t, if it does fall down I don’t think your dress would be enough to keep it up and you might ruin the line of your dress.  Plus after a few drinks and dancing you may not care about the belly button issue and want to take that sucker off.

I wear spanks  high waist shorts all the time under little sleek dresses or my dresses with itchy cronoline  my vote would be for something like that  and just wear it underneath your dress

Does anyone have any issue with the highwaisted spanx rolling down?  I’m worried about shelling out the cash and having that problem…
