Bees I need help!
I’m slim, but I hate my arms! They’re just so flabby and un-toned. I didn’t really realise how much I hate them until I got my pre-wedding photos back just now (which are fab, but that’s another post lol). They don’t look AWFUL, but they make me look bigger than I am.
So, my question to y’all is: can I improve them within the next 7 weeks?! If so, how? I am totally clueless when it comes to these things. I did find swimming helped, and plan to start going again 4 times a week, but what else can I do ie specific exercises? If they could be done in the privacy of my own home that’d be even better as the gym freaks me out :-s

Yes you can. I am obsessed with Jillian Michaels DVDs (honestly I am not on commission!) and have been working out with them since about february. Her ‘no more trouble zones’ dvd focusses on arms and shoulders a LOT and mine have never looked this toned ever! I saw results after about a month so I’m sure you would too, its worth a go anyway. You need hand weights for the DVD though but it will make a difference.

barbie86: you definitely can! I’ve been swimming a couple of times a week for the last few weeks and it’s had a good effect on my arms 🙂

- Wedding: October 2014 - Disney
Swimming, pilates, running, and weights. I do a combo of back/shoulder/chest/arms through the winter. I’m picking up the sequence now again although I typically dont do weights in the summer because my wedding is in october. I want to have nice arms for my wedding. I’ll also be running the morning of the wedding then doing a series of planks, pushups, and crunches prior to the wedding. 1 its going to kill my nerves and stress, 2 I’ll feel more confident, 3 I’ll look more toned.

Hi,
I am in the EXACT same boat – just got my pics back from my first fitting of my dress, I thought I looked pretty good having already lost 12lbs – but my arms and even my back are not looking good. So upset. I might try this Jillian Michaels dvd – could bees advise, should I continue dieting or diet and try and tone at the same time?
