So I will definitely be handwriting all of the outer envelopes for our wedding invitations; however, I am seriously considering using a label or printing our address directly onto the return envelope for RSVPs. How would you feel about this as a guest? I’ve heard that you must always hand write everything, but it would save me so much time, rather than writing the same address over and over. Part of me wants to do everything the right way, and part of me doesn’t really care if someone gets all uppity over something as silly as a preprinted address ๐
bees, what do you think??

@SweetWildflower1: I say do it! My friend hand wrote hers and used printed label for the RSVP! It’s cute and still personal. go for it ๐

I made an envelope in Microsoft word (adjusted the size off the template they have) and printed them all on my printer. I’m also going to do the same thing for all my guests’ addresses on the outside of the invitation envelope; I have horrible hand writing haha

@Stephville: I like to do this for pretty much everything I have to mail. It looks nice and you save the step of having to peel off the labels and place them squarely on the envelops.

I honestly am not one for etiquette… so when we ordered our RSVP cards and I had the option to have our return address printed on all of them I was like SCORE! I don’t see anything wrong with it… I was thinking wow.. my guests will love me, they don’t have to write our address down themselves. =x like I said.. not very good at etiquette…

We printed addresses onto our RSVP return envelopes on my home printer. Heck, we printed the addresses on the actual wedding invites on my home printer, in a calligraphy font. They looked beautiful and did the job. Go for it!

Yes, absolutely! Our address was pre-printed as well. No one said anything except how gorgeous the invites were! ๐

Thank you ladies! I definitely think I might just print all of the addresses right onto the envelopes. My handwriting is nice enough, but I can’t write in a straight line to save my life! I’d rather print them than have it look sloppy ;P

I bought a self-inking stamp from etsy that had calligraphy on it… it turned out super cute and I stamped all the rsvp’s with it. it looks like handwriting so I am very happy with it.

I printed the addresses onto the envelopes, and then traced over them to make it look like handwriting. Yeah, I cheated. But it worked! ๐
