(Closed) Can I wear a long veil with a short dress?

I think in the photos a long veil looks odd with the knee and tea length dresses, but looks very cool with the short-short dresses.  Maybe it’s the contrast of very short to very long.  You could go to JoAnns and buy 3 yards of tulle for next to nothing, just to try out the “look” with your dress.  Or, if you want a long veil, just go for it!

do it! I just found a pic of my great-grandparents wedding and my great-grandmother wore a tea length dress and a very long veil and looked amazing.

tbh, I think it looks downright odd and might well be something you look back on and go  “what was I thinking….. “

I take pp’s point above, but when I see the style in old family photos etc ,  I always think  ‘oh dear poor them having that style be the thing’

if thats what you want then go for it… and for the record I love short dresses with longer accessesories
