Okay, I’m biased towards bling, but I think you can.  Your sash is more understated than some, so I think you can pull it off.  Beautiful dress, by the way, & love the veil!

Without seeing the necklace, it’s hard to say, but maybe it will complement the sash.

Also, it depends how long your hair is (and will you wear it straight or with curls/waves)?

    Lovely dress, by the way.

I think you can because the sash itself is white and not overwhelming. I think you can choose a great statement necklace without going over the top. Did you have any in mind?

Also your dress is beautiful and looks great on you!

Assuming you keep the sash a neutral color then yes.

The dress is simple and elegant enough that you definitely can. Just make sure when thinking of a necklace that you don’t get one that covers all your neck and chest area. And I would go with simple earrings and no bracelet.

@Lisa_Chitown:  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that first statement necklace you posted, but, as I recall seeing in another post last summer, that necklace is more than $900.  It’s AMAZING, though! 🙂

I don’t think you really need a necklace with your gown, however, given the blingy sash, sweetheart neckline, and ruching on your dress. I think a statement necklace would likely compete too much with your gown rather than complement it.

You can DEFINITELY wear a statement necklace with that gown. But IMO you shouldn’t have your hair down unless you have it pinned back on the sides so that it doesn’t cover it up! I do like the loose curly ponytail in the pic you posted above yours.

I think you can! Particularly if that reflects your style – you should still look like yourself on your wedding day!

i loved you hair in the photo – but it would be pretty if you had it down … i recommend making some various salon appointments and just try it out.

First of all that dress looks amazing on you!!!!!!  Seriously it fits you perfectly.  Second, Yes I would wear a statement necklass, it might just be tricky to find the right one.  I would go for something slightly chunky but not overboard, as you do already have a sash/belt.  LOVE IT!

necklace…i knew how to spell that! And in my opinion (just noticed the pictures) I think that first necklass is too chunky…but I’d have to see it together!
