Hi, new here so hope I’m posting in the right bit!
I love this dress but am not sure if it’s a bit too bridesmaidy to wear as a guest? I wouldn’t think so if a guest wore it to mine, but then I’m quite relaxed about this kind of thing! Wondered what other brides would think of it.
The bridesmaids are going to be wearing purple so it won’t be a colour issue. I’m just worried that the sparkles might be too much!
Thanks in advance 🙂

I think it’s lovely and fine to wear.

I think the short version looks fine to wear as a guest. The longer version looks a little bridesmaids-y

lilyflowers : Yes I’d avoid the long version. But the short version looks perfect for a guest.

Pretty! I say go for it, but as PP said stay away from the long version. Now i’m off to see what else that website has!

Either the short or the long verson are fine. I’m not a fan of the long one but only because I don’t happen to favor long pastel gowns and rarely wear that particular color in any form. But it is not “inappropriate,” especially for a summer wedding.
BMs are supposed to wear dresses appropriate to the formality of the occasion, just like everyone else. There’s really no such thing as a dress that is exclusively for bridesmaids.

I think I’d stick with the short version, but I love it and think it’s very appropriate!

Both the long and short versions are fine. Pastel dresses are not the sole property of bridesmaids, and are one of the fashion trends for spring/summer 2016.
