I bought this dress a few months ago, but since then my friends changed what we are doing. We are going on a boat cruize over lunch and then going out to a couple places by the water after, then having dinner and going out that night. I wouldn’t be able to go home and change and I really really really want to wear it. Is it too much for daytime though?? It is a little more gold than it shows in the picture.

i think this would be cute! Especially on a boat, I would just make sure to wear shorts underneath cause the wind really cranks up on the sea.

ooh good point. I probably would not have thought of that!!

That is super cute! I would just switch up your accessories to take it from day to night. You could do a little cropped denim jacket and some ballet flats for lunch and then in the evening lose the jacket and throw on some heels.

I personally cant picture this for a daytime cruise or a night time do
to me it looks like something you would pair with shorts or leggings for a casual, comfortable look at the beach or at the track
you could add a waist cincher belt too change the whole look of a shapeless dress though, it becomes like instant taloring for if you want to change the look

I think it’s a great outfit, totally appropriate!

Nice dress! Although it’s a bit much for usual day wear, it’s totally fine for a bachelorette. I agree with PPs – just switch up the accessories. I wouldn’t wear much jewelry during the day since it’s already so shiny. I disagree that it’s too casual, based on my impression of the material from the photo.

I am VERY jealous! That cut of dress wouldn’t hang on me right. I think you can wear this dress to this function, and maybe wear it a few more times in the future. AWESOME FIND!
