It could be passable. When the dress is next to a white door, it seems more white. However, you’ll be moving around with varied backdrops, so I think the brown might be more pronounced in real life.

How do you know the bride isn’t wearing beige or ivory? Just don’t do it. If you have to ask, it’s probably not okay.

Im getting married in 3 months, if you came to my wedding wearing that i wouldnt care in the least bit. It looks nice to me and nowhere near the white of a wedding dress. or close to a wedding dress at all. i say wear it, not that serious

totally wearable… unless you’re attending a casual boho wedding where you might actually wear the same thing as the bride 🙂

I think it’s too white.

buzztastic13:  I can only comment on information I’ve been given. You don’t need to jump down my throat about information I don’t have. And you don’t need to be so rude about it.

It sounds like you’ve made up your mind already, and just want validation, not peoples’ honest opinions.

I wouldn’t care but these brides on here seem to get upset at what people wear. I swear I was wayyyy too busy (and happy) to care about what anyone wore.

As you’ve seen her dress and know it looks nothing like yours I think you are safe. Add coloured accessories just to make it stand out more.

for what it’s worth I once wore a cream/Ivory dress to a wedding (it was a smart casual dress) and I am still alive and still friends with the bride!

buzztastic13:  Why are you going to be rude when you’re the one who asked if the dress is okay? You obviously want to wear it so just wear it.

I would advise against it.
