On a side note, if the bride is a good friend of yours, why not just ask her if she minds?

buzztastic13: I would not wear it just to be on the safe side. The bride may be okay with it, but other people might make a big deal out of it and give you the stink-eye.
Also, other people might mistaken you to be apart of the wedding party.
I personally wouldn’t wear it if I had doubts and had to ask. It seems a lot of the opinions on here are split which is probably how guests at the wedding would feel so it would just make me uncomfortable thinking people were looking at me as one of “those people” who wore something inappropriate to a wedding. I don’t neccesarily think there is something wrong with it but I would enjoy the wedding more myself if I wasn’t questioning my dress choice.
I think it falls way too into the danger zone! If someone wore that to my wedding, I would have thought it in poor taste. Even if the bride doesn’t coment on it, I bet other guests will see it and think “what on earth was she thinking!”
