WeddingSingerA:  Hmm. I’m not sure. Its not like you have to avoid every speck of white, but it is very definitely a white dress. A white dress with black accents, but a white dress none-the-less. Also, I’m not entirely sold on it being appropriate for a “fancy venue.” Its got a lace corset look going on which is a little risque, and it sorta seems like a prom dress. Don’t get me wrong – it’s a nice dress and you look good in it. But I think you should go for something a little simpler and plainer, since you’re presumably there to blend in and provide ambiance. I’d say no white prom dresses for that. Try a little black dress or a simple cocktail dress.

I think it’s fine,  but ultimately it depends on the bride. I’d wear it to sing at a wedding reception,  it’s not like you’re wearing it to the ceremony and (heaven forbid) “upstaging” the bride.

I think you should wear something else.

What if the bride wears a white dress with black lace details?

no good. The dress is too white and a bit too shotrt.

It is not appropriate. I would go for a simple long, black dress, which you can find at any price point. H&M has some nice, inexpensive ones.

No, not  a good outfit at all , apart from being largely white, it’s kind of joky and costumey. The venue calls for something  long and semi -formal and dignified I think ( see Nontra bove)

Whiteness aside, I don’t think the cut and style are formal enough. As others have said, go for a cocktail dress or simple LBD. (Dress looks great on you, btw, just doesn’t seem quite right for this occasion!)

I’m sorry, it looks very costumey. Black tights and white dress don’t jive. Keep looking.

Looks like a halloween costume or something. Just go for a chic and classic little black cocktail dress.
