I bought a wedding dress in July for my August wedding. I was pregnant and in a rush to pick a dress because we decided to get married a year earlier since I was pregnant. I ended up losing the baby and we ended up cancelling the wedding. We managed to get back on track and are now planning to have the wedding in June.Since I’ve had more time to plan this time around, I’ve decided to pick somewhat of a boho/woodsy theme which was my original idea before rushing the wedding. I’m kind of regretting buying this dress since I don’t really see it fitting in with what I want for the wedding. Are there any suggestions on adding anything to make the dress fit in with the style of the wedding?

What kind of boho elements are you considering? I think you could boho this dress up with hair, makeup, and jewelry. It could be a very interesting and fun juxtaposition.

I can totally picture that dress with a woodsy/forest themed venue!

Woodsy yes, boho not really

It’s beautiful but to me it’s just not boho. To me, boho is less structured, very flowy and a little ” rustic”.

Pretty dress but not boho at all…

Not boho at all .. I can’t picture it. Maybe if you added a tassel shawl? But maybe not then either.

no. not at all. A girl I know got a similar dress and tried to go boho with her hair and makeup and it just looked, for lack of a better word, stupid

no not boho at all. Pretty dress but it looks a bit a princess-ish to me?

I don’t think your dress has to match the decor.

I think you are overthinking things.

First of all, I love the dress!!! So pretty, and I love the color and embellishment and the back is incredible. I hope it represents the hope, promise, or joy of building a family. ❤️
For the style, I say do what you want! This dress reads fairy tale/ woodsy to me but is a bit too structured and formal for me to call it bohemian. So maybe lean more towards the former rather than the latter if you want to.
But I think there’s a big focus on weddings as cohesively styled events right now that I don’t think is necessary to have a good wedding. So bring in whatever bohemian elements you want to make your day special to you, like a macrame wedding arch or a loose, wildflower bouquet. Both would look lovely next to your dress!

Pretty dress, l love the back particularly, but it is not boho at all, nor do l think it can be made so. If you can afford it, l’d buy what you really want now and sell this one . Or give up your boho idea. ..
PS, l am so sorry you lost the baby . Yes it is common and no indication at all of future success or failure, but still sad .

You’ve been through a very tough event. While this gown is lovely, I think you should go find the boho dress of your dreams. Treat yourself ❤️

I’m so sorry you’ve had such a tough year. The dress is beautiful I think you just need to add in a flower wreath to your hair and you’ll be fine .Just don’t try to force it You’ll look stunning in a woodsy wedding!
