@ersa0501:  I think it’s do-able! If your seamstress tightened the seams in the lower half, and maybe added some tulle panels at the bottom for volume!

Yes it’s doable. I did something similar to my wedding dress! You just have to find a seamstress willing to do the work!

My friend wore this exact dress to her wedding in ’08, it’s a beautiful dress! She loved how comfortable it was.

It looks like more of a sheath in person than on that model, imo. I think the suggestion to get a crinoline / slip to go under it and give it some body on the bottom might help? Also find a good seamstress and I bet they can work with it.
