@lilgrizzlygirl: wow, i cant believe your WEDDING photographer told you WHITE was tough to photograph!!! that would make me nervous for the wedding! has she done other weddings?

Totally up to you but I would avoid white for an E portrait session.  Viewers eye goes to the brightest part of the photo which will be your dress.  For the E session you want the focus to be on your faces, you as a couple, or the environment you are in on wider crops…..this will not happen wearing white. it would be more acceptable to wear something like that for a solo shoot.  Also, unless you have a skilled photographer your dress will most likely blow out and loose detail in the photos.  This happened to some of the ones that were linked to above.

Once they changed outfits, the images look more balanced.

@lilgrizzlygirl:The blog photos look great. Who is your photographer? Can you look through her portfolio and see if there is anything white in there?

I mean… I’m sure she’s photographed white wedding dresses before, but maybe someone else also had a white dress for e-pics.

@dynamic_duo:  It is tough to photograph, but your photographer “should” be able to do it.  I say should because I see some posted here that are blown out bad with loss of detail.  Pay attention to this next time images are posted you will see what I mean.
