Watery CM is fertile, too. And I tend to get a bit of EWCM right before AF as the progesterone falls off and estrogen dominates. It’s normal. I’m 37 and I don’t have as much EWCM as I did when I was TTC #1. I get a half day of some EWCM around ovulation, and otherwise it’s watery. But we did manage to conceive #2 like that, and we didn’t even use any Pre-Seed this time. It could be age, it could be changes in your hormones afer having a kid, but I don’t think your new normal is anything to be concerned about. Relax and TTC with wild abandon! I hope you get your BFP soon.

Sunshine09:  watery is also fertile cervical mucus.  Not everyone gets a lot of EWCM.  If you got a positive OPK and watery CM I would assume you ovulate within 12-48 hours of the + OPK.

You can also get increased cervical mucus periodically during the TWW, I though thought it was just a rise in estrogen.

I’m sure lack of CM could be caused by other issues like maybe you didn’t drink enough water- I think being dehydrated could decrease CM.

I really wouldn’t worry yet.  CM isn’t always effective for pinpointing ovulation.  It isn’t for me anyway.  I am lucky to get one or two days of watery CM it seems and nothing else.  I’m 31.  I’ve had a few cycles with a patch or two of EWCM but it isn’t very often.

Yeah I wouldn’t be too concerned that you’re not getting ewcm as long as you’re getting a. Few days of watery cm and positive OpK.
