Hello all! I recently heard this song by Daughtry that really stuck with me. I would like to use it as my processional instead of “I’m Yours” but my sister thinks it sounds too much like a break up song. I think it could mean a lot of things for different people. What do you think? I’d love to use it if it wouldn’t be weird!

Sorry, I agree with your sis. Stick with Im Yours or look for a more “happy” song. =)

I didn’t listen to the song, but I did look up the lyrics. It reminds me of a summer romance that the couple wants to make last longer but it isn’t going to happen.
I know people don’t really listen to the lyrics in a song (meaning those at your wedding probably won’t try to find meaning in it), but I personally wouldn’t want to know my processional song had those lyrics :/
But maybe I’m biased because I absolutely love Jason Mraz 🙂

I really don’t like this at all for a processional.
“All the promises we made. One by one, they vanished all the same”??
No. Way.

Even if it’s not about a breakup, the fact that it sounds like it COULD be is treading on dangerous ground, IMO.
