We are looking through pictures of us for our slideshow and are having a hard time finding enough. We have a picture we like…..except for the half naked girl on the poster in the background…. Is there any way we can edit her out? I am horrible at doing things like that! Thanks!

If you have a Mac, you can use Iphoto. It has a retouch feature that is really easy to use–just drag the wand over the offending parts and they will fade into the color of the background.
If you have a PC, you could try Paint. Once you get the photo into paint, you can just use the paintbrush tool to paint over the poster.
I don’t know how to do anything more advanced than that! Hope this helps. 🙂

You can throw it into Photoshop and stamp it out. Do you have Photoshop? The stamp tool just moves color around so it’s easy to replace a piece of the photo that’s not so lovely. You can pull the red over to cover the girl completely. Let me know if you need help or you want me to do it – I do this at work all the time:) Good luck!

Most programs have what they call a "Blemish remover". I use Picasa 3, here’s what I could do with it in a minute or so.. if you really worked at it you could probably make it look a bit nicer..

I am a photographer and if you email the jpeg to me I’d be happy to fix it for you right away and email it back. my email is [email protected] No charge! I see someone fixed it some what, but I would recommend taking out the “red eye” etc. Again my offer stands.

Here you go, see if you like this. I made a couple of other adjustments for you…took some flash glare out, red eye, etc. Hope that helps you!

That is amazing!!!! It looks so much better! Thank you so much! I was so upset because I didn’t want to use that picture because of the poster behind us.
I really appreciate the editing! I was trying with the stuff on my computer but could not figure it out for the life of me. Fiance will be so happy to see this!
We were laughing because this was at a friend’s birthday party and somebody ended up getting drunk that night (I know, big shock at a bar) and actually stole that poster. We were saying why couldn’t they have done that BEFORE the picture!!
Thanks again : )

heheheh reminds me of hubbys co-worker that had her most fav daughter (bride) and groom photo ruined by idiot son in the background doing the finger – she asked me to photoshop him out so she could use it in the thankyou cards. nice work on the editing bees!
