If the branches fit neatly submerged in the vases, then I don’t see a reason why it couldn’t work. But if you couldn’t get it to do that, I would choose the centerpieces with the submerged orchids. Those are really beautiful and clean!

lampshades are very “casablanca” like-  1930’s.  I like it

I like the first picture with those beautiful lamps and flowers inside. I think that is striking and unique. For me I wouldnt add anything else if you were doing something like that. So beautiful

I would do all lampshade centerpieces.  Both types are gorgeous but I feel like they don’t really fit together. One is more modern/romantic feeling and the other kind of rustic-chic? very pretty though!

I agree with Coleernee.  The centrepieces are both nice, but the styles are completely different.  I would go with all lampshades; they are super unique!  I’ve seen the branch ones at several weddings I have been to personally.

Not extactly sure what your colors/themes are (I am guessing you are using white lampshades and going for a sleek modern feel based on the first picture)… but my suggestion is if would like to incorporate both use white or silver colored branches as they can fit into the modern/contempary vibe with ease if keep the arrangements simple.

Or they also sell premade bendable branch centerpieces that are actually quite beautiful. They could be decorated with pretty much anything and they are sturdier then natural dried branches.

Good Luck!

Personally, I don’t really think that these two styles would really go well together.

I like the second picture you posted though because it uses the lampshade without being too boxy (though maybe thats what your going for) but has a slightly “branched” out touch with the flowers that fan out.

So i would go more in that direction Smile
