Can we make a new WB rule? Pretty please? It’s pretty easy and harmless. Basically, anytime you post a picture of a dress PLEASE post the designer and style name/number. I’m always finding gorgeous dresses that you ladies have posted and can’t figure out the name (particularly if you are wearing the gown and it isn’t a stock photo). I feel like this will make it easier for everyone – and it’s just like giving credit to a photographer.
Btws – this doesn’t have to be an official rule, just something we all make a practice out of.

I agree with just asking. You can also do an easy google image search too.

@JrzyGurl: I think the reason some posters don’t is because then their photo comes up in a google image search of the dress name/model number.

I purposely don’t put my dress name on any pictures I post. It becomes google searchable and for a while I was having a lot of people joining WB just to message me about if I was selling it, if it was heavy, if it was expensive, etc. (5-6 times a week).

I bought my dress online and have no idea who’s dress it is or what the name is.

Messaging the person is always an option. I don’t think anyone would be like, “pfft, wouldn’t you like to know!”

Haha. Asking is a good option- it just takes time. They might not respond. Sometimes it’s hard to find the response. I just think it’d be better if it was easily accesible. And if it becomes google-able, well – everything we post on here is googleable and pin-able. It’s just how it works.
