Although I don’t have any resources to offer you, I have to give you a pat on the back for your attitude.  I truly believe that what’s meant to be will happen and although this is a bad place for you and your hubby to be right this second, it may bring bigger and btter things to you both.  I know that someone reading this will have a connection or a lead…  Wishing you both the best of luck.

This might be of little help of interest to you, but my photographer friend is (or at least was) looking for a copywriter for his blog (he’s a pretty bad writer!:) It could maybe just be a little supplemental income while you are job searching. His web site is http://www.CaseyJayBenson.com, and you can tell him I told you that he was looking for a copywriter. Who knows!

Make sure you file for unemployment and whatnot. I went from making pretty good money to being laid off and I’ve had no luck since January, and so I’ve been even applying for $7 an hour jobs… which is like a hit in the stomach after you were just making much much more than that. Look inside yourself and think about if there is anything you can do. Babysit, cleaning houses, selling things on etsy.

Another thing you can do is keep the Karma coming. Volunteer for a good cause. It will help you pass time, you may meet someone that can refer you to a job, and you will be doing something positive. Good things come back to you.

Don’t forget. All of us on weddingbee are here for you!
