So here’s the deal: I want to toss the bouquet but Fiance doesn’t want to do the garter removal or toss. Has anyone been to a wedding where they just tossed the bouquet?

Yes I have, and we’re considering a bouquet toss only as well!
is it because he has to go under the dress it get the garter?
We only did a bouquet toss and not a garter toss. Garter tosses are relatively recent trends anyway, I think. (The weddings I’ve been to have been about 50/50 on garter tosses.)
If we do either, we would just do a bouquet toss. I’m not a big fan of the garter toss, so we decided that we’re not going to do it. I think you can do whatever you want! I’ve never been to a wedding where I thought to myself, “Why didn’t they do a garter toss?” I don’t think it’s something people will miss.
My daughter got married a month ago. She did a bouquet toss but no garter toss. No one seemed to miss it.
We did the opposite, garter toss and no bouquet toss. Number of single guys at our wedding were far greater than the single women.
Definitely! A lot of weddings I’ve coordinated have only done the bouquet toss.
Have fun!
I definitely am not doing garter-anything. I really don’t like that tradition. And I’ve also seen where it’s just the bouquet toss, which is probably what I will do. Trust me, no one will notice or even think about it!
I’m only doing a bouquet toss. Never even heared of the garter toss until coming on here (I’m in the Uk so maybe it’s just an American thing? Dunno) Not a fan of the garter thing anyway- especially hate pics of brides lifting up their wedding dress past their thigh to show their garter- yuk!
