I finally figured out my favours! WHOOHOO!! We’re making “S’mores on a stick”…put a marshmellow on a wooden dowel, dip in melted chocolate then in graham cracker crumbs. Bag them, add a cute little favor tag and enjoy 🙂
Question is, could I make them before hand (about 5-6 days in advanced) and freeze them? I would love to make the fresh but that’s sorta pushing it time wise LOL

If you seal the bag tight to the stick, I see no need to risk freezing them. Just think of the ingredients-marshmallows, chocolate, graham wafer cookies- all of those can keep fresh in a bag or wrap in your cupboard for more than a week, so I’m sure the assembled favor would be fine too.
Perfect favour for your wedding!

I would be afraid with freezing them, because when they warm back up I would think the chocolate would “sweat” making the graham turn wet. But if you have time why do a test run first.

If you do a freezer trial, try letting them thaw out in the refrigerator for a few hours before bringing them into room temperature.

@julies1949: Very true! I guess I didn’t really think that one through LOL Thanks! 🙂
@pinkb: Good point! Never thought of that either LOL
I’ll do a few more trail runs just to be sure!
