So Bees I have the most stunning two tier cathedral length veil with a blusher and raw edges – it’s really floaty and dreamy! The hairstyles I like are mainly side ones – maybe a messy side bun or chignon? Did anyone here wear their hair to the side with a long veil? Is that OK to do or would it look weird?

I think it will look great, I’ve seen it before. Also, you won’t be wearing your veil once the ceremony is over since it’s cathedral length, so at the reception you’ll have the hair you want for the pics.
Are you having a hair trial appointment? Since you’re not sure I’d recommend having one, and take your veil with you so you can look at it together. But I definitely think it will work together.

I think you definitely can ! I removed my veil after cocktail hour and changed to a fascinator. Excuse the pic I had been dancing and my bangs got a little sweaty hence the chunk of hair that is misplaced.

My veil was fingertip length, but I had a side “pony” and did the veil and it looked really pretty! I wondered the same thing, but when I put the whole look together, I really liked it! 🙂 You be the judge…
