@dancingfox:  I absolutely love your ering, because I’m about to order one just like it!  I am always jealous when I see that wedding band, so I love it too!  I don’t think they go together per say, but they don’t clash either.  If you like the mismatched look, then go for it.  Or some women wear their wedding band on the right hand, which would look great in this case.  When I get my new ering, I’m planning on going for this look (user Caris on BTD)…

@dancingfox:  Do you have a side shot of your ering?  Where’s it from?  What’s the size of your center stone?

As a PP stated, I think they’re both beautiful. I just don’t think they necessarily fit together.

Oooo that’s my wedding band!  I love it so much.

Having said that though I’m not sure it goes that well with your e-ring.  I think a channel set might look better.  If your e-ring band was plain I would say go for it.

@dancingfox:  i like the band by itself better than with the ering.  i think you can find something that will compliment your ering better.  it doesn’t look horrible but i think the set that @ceebree:  is much nicer.

I LOVE this!  Personally, I like that it doesn’t exactly “match”.  I think it’s beautiful, but if you’re not sure, think on it for a little while.  Go back and try it on again.  Try on a band with a channel setting…and go with your gut!

I’d recommend a half-channel setting like your ering, or just a plain band.

@MrsYoshida:  Pretty sure all the diamonds in her ring are round

I don’t personally love how it goes with your e-ring, but if you love it then go for it 🙂

As to why… I think its that the round, pronged style clashes with the channel set of your e-ring band as well as the small % of the ring being covered in diamonds not looking right against the 50% covered by your channel set diamonds. But thats JMHO.

I like how they’re just a little mismatched. Laughing

@dancingfox:  Oh interesting! Love your e-ring!! It doesn’t look quite channel set, more like prong set with an edge along.  Never seen one like that, super cool!
